Vrijdag 16 april is te gast, Jacques Mees zijn bijnaam is 'de troubadour' en die naam lijkt deze Brabander op het lijf geschreven. Hij speelt al vanaf zijn elfde jaar gitaar, maar luisterde al ver voor die tijd naar folk, blues en country. Enkele van zijn muzikale inspiratiebronnen zijn Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen,Neil Young,Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams and Dave van Ronk. Hij speelt niet alleen hun werk maar schrijft ook zijn eigen composities en heeft al een paar CD's in eigen beheer uitgebracht. Hij heeft overal in Europa met zijn gitaar rondgezworven, zat een tijdje in Rio de Janeiro en deed optredens in New York. Hij stond in het voor-programma van artiesten als Kevin Ayers en wijlen Rick Danko van The Band. Aanstaande vrijdag kunnen wij genieten in ons artiestencafe VVV van 22.00-24.00 uur. Het programma is live te bezoeken aan de Verwerstraat 55 en te beluisteren via Boschtion FM 95.2 FM, kabel 87.5 en via de stream van http://www.boschtion.nl/
